Hutchinson is home to Hutchinson Community College, home of one of the premier Junior College Basketball programs in the country. In March, the Hutchinson Sports Arena, their home court, is also home to the NJCAA Basketball tournament where the best teams in the USA come to determine the national champion.

Whether you are stopping in for a Hutch Juco basketball game or manage to snag a couple of tickets to the NJCAA tournament, you will get to preview future stars of the major NCAA basketball league. If you are a basketball lover, we’ve got your ticket!

Spring in Kansas is one of the best times of year. You’ll find that spring comes early to Kansas and it’s a great time of year to walk, bike or drive in the sweet, clean air that Kansas enjoy year ‘round.

Kansas is also home to some of the best Baseball in the area and Hobart-Detter field is a great place to see it take place. Whether you are watching High School, Junior College or one of the many tournaments that take place in Hutchinson, you can have a front row seat to America’s great pastime. 

There are also many tournaments held each year at the nationally recognized Fun Valley Sports complex. Whether it's youth baseball, fast pitch or slow pitch softball, some of the best teams in the nation are playing at these great facilities.
