Fall is fair time in the Hutchinson area and the Kansas State Fair will not disappoint. But, the fairgrounds hosts all kinds of events year round including Rodeos, Shows of all kinds and the Mennonite Relief Sale.

Starting in the early part of September, it has major entertainment acts performing every night, marching bands and of course, awesome carnival rides of every sort.

The fair is also a gastronic smogasbord, with loads of stands cooking up corn on the cob, homemade ice cream, barbequed meats of all sorts and fried “anything-you-can-think-of”. But don't forget the state fair favorite: Pronto Pups. At the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, you can have your cake and eat it too!

Or just walk down the fair midway and show off your prowess at one of the many games where you can win a stuffed animal for your sweetheart.
